Figure 1 shows a transistor circuit and Fig. 2 shows its spreadsheet analysis. The red cells are values you input and the blue cells are calculated by the spreadsheet. Using a spreadsheet is one way to analyze the circuit.

Figure 3 shows another way. Think of this as the spreadsheet cells superimposed on the circuit components. Again you input the red cells and watch the blue cells update.
